The brief was to create a practical garden which would appeal to the entertainment and relaxation needs of both the family and the family dog.
 
A balau deck was installed near the house to provide a large entertainment space for the family. A matching raised bed/bench provides an alternative seating area and creates a focal point of the Apple tree. 
A sandstone perimeter path surrounds a dog friendly artificial lawn and provides easy access to the plants which are resilient to dog damage and non-poisonous.
New fencing throughout will eventually be softened with climbers and a new painted shed provides additional storage.
