A suitably elegant entrance - my N16 Victorian Front garden is complete

My clients were looking for a practical front garden which complements the Victorian architecture of their double fronted house in Stoke Newington.

A key element of my design is the new London stock brick front wall, with red brick detailing to mirror the house, and the Victorian style metal railings and gate, which give a glimpse through to the planting beyond.

The terracotta and black Victorian tiled path, edged with rope edging creates an elegant entrance to the front door with beige sawn sandstone steps and entrance stone.

A matching sandstone path leads to a bin store which neatly hides the unsightly bins.

Concrete has been replaced with a permeable flint gravel surface which allows access to the shade tolerant planting.

And just a reminder of how the garden looked before..........

I hope you agree my design has produced a front garden to be proud of. Thank you to Nordland Landscpaes for all their hard work on the project.
