A Curved garden in E5

September has been a busy month for planting up my designs from earlier in 2020. I was really looking forward to finishing this plant-focused garden with sweeping curves and light touch hard landscaping, as it is very different than most of my usually geometric based designs.

A circular sandstone patio is surrounded by fragrant climbers and drought tolerant perennials including Bergenia Eroica, Nepeta 'Alba' and Saliva nemorosa 'Caradonna'.

An Amelanchier lamarkii tree balances out the height from the existing Olive and Winter Honeysuckle on the right hand side of the garden and will help provide privacy from the back in the Summer months.

Trachelospernum jasminoides will soften the left hand fence and is combined with the silvery blue tones of Phlomis purpurea and Helictotrichon sempervirens.

I look forward to seeing the planting develop in this garden over time.
